Outstanding! Probably the best in Key West!

This venue has to be one of the best on island. The rooms are spacious and very clean, ours (on the ground floor) had a private plunge pool and small terrace. All the rooms look into a central courtyard which has a beautiful fountain and seating area. The venue has no restaurant but this is immaterial as there are eateries of every description nearby, including a sandwich/light foods/coffee place only 20 meters from the building. There are two other highlights (apart from the rooms). The first is the pool area, located on the roof and with great sea views. There is a (mostly) free bar at the pool which has loungers, chairs and a tv. A great place to hang out. Second are the staff! Rarely have I been anywhere where the staff have shone so brightly! Keen to help with any advice and assistance they are a real credit to H20. Bikes are available to hire on the premises and the venue is in a great location, just off the main drag. This place is a gem amongst the Keys, if your going to Key West.....this is the place to stay

Highly recommend

Modern decor with helpful friendly staff. Jason is a great bartender and winfield was so helpful at the front desk. Both were so nice to talk to as well. Beautiful water features and a really nice fire feature at night! ill definitely be back again, hopefully to stay on the bottom floor where each room has its own little poo

One of the better hotels I've stayed in

I stayed in H20 for my first (and perhaps only) trip to Key West. I'm usually a Marriott Autograph Collection fan, but the Saint just didn't quite speak to me for this trip, so I rolled the dice and went with H20. I was not disappointed. Location: It's on Simonton, one block over from Duval, so you're close to the shops and restaurants of Key West. Everything from Mallory Square to the various Southernmost Point traps and restaurants are all walkable from here. We didn't need to use our car once, though if you are someone who can't handle a mile walk, there's bicycles available at the hotel as well. Because it's not on Duval, it's also quiet and, when you do arrive/leave by car, you don't have to deal with the endless throngs of bachelor(ette) parties and retirees on golf carts clogging the street as you would on Duval or Whitehead. Property: It's small, and it feels private. This place has 22 rooms - 11 downstairs units with pools, and 11 upstairs units with balconies. The pools are pretty small and are more for dunking your legs in. If you value that over privacy, get a pool room. If you want more privacy, get a non-pool room and enjoy the slightly more private balcony. The rooftop pool is nice and also rarely crowded. Given that this hotel can accommodate at most 44 people, and half of those have pools, the fact there's 20+ chains up on the pool deck means you don't have to partake in the horrible American tradition of claiming a poolside chair at 7:30 with a towel, book, or other space saver trinket. Coming from a city where that crap is the norm after a snowstorm, this is very welcome indeed. The courtyard is pretty. Lots of palms. There's a firepit in the evenings. There's back and side entrances so you don't have to go through the lobby to get in or out. Parking is covered so anything you do leave in your car doesn't melt immediately. Last point, but certainly not least - this place is 18+. No kids in the pool splashing you when you're trying to relax. No kids stomping up stairs or in the room above you. No kids screaming outside in the courtyard. No kids. If you love your kids and want to show them off to everyone, I'm happy for you. It's also nice to get away from the "family fun" culture sometimes, and this place can help you do that. Room: The rooms are spacious enough, despite the floor plans making them seem smaller. Fair warning, you should be comfortable looking at your roommate naked - the shower is all glass, as is most of the bathroom. Even frosted glass is all that separates someone on the toilet from someone at the sink or someone in the shower or someone at the closet. Service: I'll say over the top here, and that's saying something. Yes, the place isn't cheap, and yes there's a resort fee. What does that get you? Complimentary bottled water. Complimentary muffins in your room. Complimentary ice cream in your mini-bar. Complimentary mimosas by the pool in the morning. Complimentary wine and snacks by the pool in the afternoon. Complimentary champagne on Valentine's Day. Free parking. Free wifi. So on and so forth. I've stayed at a lot of hotels, and this one - by far - had the largest selection of items that usually cost between $5-$30 each available for free. Even the non-free items were reasonably priced by resort standards. Bottle of wine in your room? $30. The hotel I'm at now wants $40. Poolside margarita? $8 at H20 - $15-$30 at your typical Marriott. Front desk remembers your name when you stop in. They deliver extra water to your room on request. I asked for muffins at 8:00 at night and got them in 30 minutes. All in all, you can do much, much worse than this place. It's not the cheapest place in town, and if you're a bargain hunter, just go ahead and strike this place off your list now and go to the Best Western across the street. If you want a little pampering and privacy away from the crazy that is vacation towns, book it today. You won't regret it

Wonderful Gem

I must say when I walked in to H2O Suites it felt like a little piece of heaven. It is such a peaceful oasis that you just don't want to leave. It's a short walk to Duval and the butterfly conservatory. I will definitely be coming back
